RETAIL PRICING & PROMOTIONS SENIOR CONSULTANT
**Role is virtual with travel as needed (up to 100%) with responsibility for SAP engagements in the Central United States
SAP is not offering relocaiton for this role
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Business Senior Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Pricing & Promotions products and functionalities to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. He/She will be part of the elite group of SAP consultants providing our clients with professional services focused on SAP Retail Pricing & Promotions.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The consultant will contribute in blueprinting, design, implementation, operation, optimization, and upgrade phase of an Enterprise IT project life cycle, and provide business process as well as functional expertise, and project guidance to our clients to ensure their investment in SAP software and consulting services will make their business the best run business. Consultant is also responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction in each of their accounts in addition to growing and developing referenceable customers through their investigation, analysis, consulting, coaching, knowledge transfer, and relationship-building efforts.
Ability to support all stages of a SAP Pricing & Promotions implementation project
Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
A record of taking initiative (self-starter), driving results, and accepting increasing levels of responsibility
Well-rounded understanding of business, partner and project management practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a global team coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Understand Retail Business Practices and the customer environment
Ability to solve functional and technical obstacles with customers under the direction of the Project Manager (PM).
Work closely with the customer and project team to define business requirements.
Ability to provide recommendations with regards to future business and solution opportunities
100% travel is required
At least 5 years of work experience in relevant consulting services engagements or business environments, implementing or using Retail Planning business process and applications
Implementation & configuration of SAP Pricing & Promotions module is expected
Profound understanding of SAP Retail Merchandising Processes with focus on Pricing & Promotions
Understanding of IT product and project life cycle
Concrete understanding of Information model in enterprise software
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Business Degree or comparable qualifications
SAP project experience as an employee of a larger Retail company or through a Consulting firm
Profound knowledge of Retail Business Processes with strong focus on SAP Pricing & Promotions
Profound knowledge of SAP software
Knowledge and Hands-On experience with regards to SAP Retail Pricing & Promotion module
Experienced using business orientated software and technical aptitude
Excellent analytical, results-driven and solution-oriented approach
Ability to work with larger teams and strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong listening skills along with conflict management skills to solve problems from all parties, outlining the pros and cons and challenges to audience to make a collective decision to resolve an issue
Capability of leading meetings and in getting the audience to interact
