The position is needed to work in Queretaro

As Vehicle Test Engineer you will be responsible to support the product application testing of state­of­the­art Electronic Brake & safety Systems for vehicle dynamics control. As a team member within a global engineering environment, you will take care for the test validation to requirements within the department’s definition.

Core Responsibilities:

Test and develop Electronic Brake Systems and its components to requirements

­ Analyze Requirements and Define system requirements on vehicle level

­ Create Test Specifications, Maintain and Update Test Plans & Test Specification Database

­ Plan and execute engineering, function and application tests (vehicle / HIL / SIL)

­ Support Project specific HIL setup (BUS emulation, establish test scripts)

­ Support Validation: Review Data and verify completeness & meets requirement

­ Document test results

­ Plan, track and document release relevant vehicle test activities

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

­ BS Degree in Engineering discipline

­ Good Knowledge in Computer Science (C/C++ Programming Language, Matlab/SimuLink)

­ Good Knowledge of embedded systems

­ Good Knowledge in virtual Development (HIL / SIL)

­ Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills

­ Excellent Knowledge and effective use of MS Office Tools

­ Fluency in the English language (written and verbal)

­ Systematic problem solving skills

­ Team player with strong focus on quality and customer orientation

­ Self­dependent with a high degree of passion, dedication and commitment

­ Must be able to travel year round (may require travel up to 3 months to U.S. during winter time)

­ Valid driver’s license

Desired Qualifications:

­ Degree in engineering discipline with focus on automotive engineering

­ More than 2 years of experience working in the automotive industry

­ Experience within development of vehicle dynamics, chassis or brakes

­ Basic knowledge in vehicle mechanics, electrics and electronics

­ Basic knowledge in data acquisition

­ Knowledge of CAN communication and CANalyzer

­ Advanced vehicle driving and judgment skills (vehicle dynamics area)

­ Hands­on experience

­ Experience in FSAE, motorsport or similar activities

­ A valid US Visa is a plus
