Job Description


The position is needed in Queretaro.

The Electronic Brake Application Engineer is responsible for developing mechanical systems, components, and supporting

vehicle packaging activities with the customer. They will work as part of a team, both internal and external to ensure

adequate product development and validation of the unit.

Additional responsibilities

­ Conduct feasibility studies, understand GD&T, Create test plans, work with Test engineers to execute testing

­ Review of mechanical drawings, support change management activities

­ Perform design reviews and support manufacturing activities for the program

­ Perform DFMEA and data reviews with the customer

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

­BS in Engineering Required

­Capable of demonstrating depth of knowledge and skill with technical concepts

­Experience in detecting, recognizing a problem, and identifying the nature of the problem and possible solutions

­Capable of demonstrating commonly used concepts and processes

Preferred Qualifications

­3­ to 5 years of application engineering

­Experience in the Automotive Industry

­Good knowledge of embedded systems

­Knowledge of Automotive SPICE or CMMI

­Change and Configuration Management knowledge

­Capable of demonstrating an understanding of fundamental project or relationship management principles

Experience with the software development process, systems engineering methodologies, and test techniques
