Job Description

The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Houston seeks candidates with exceptional skills for compelling teaching and cutting-edge research for a tenured or tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate in the area of Neural Engineering and Rehabilitation and appointment starting on September 1, 2017. UH enjoys stimulating research collaborations with the world’s most respected medical centers, hospitals and medical schools located just a few miles from UH’s main campus.

We seek candidates with a PhD and/or M.D. degree in the area appropriate to the applicant’s specialized field, a strong record/potential for independent extramural funding, and a solid publication record in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
