Parts/Service Coordinator job responsibilities include identifying, locating and obtaining parts in order to meet customer’s needs. Maintains inventory control, research and order parts for customers. Additional responsibilities will include handling incoming service phone calls, dispatching field technicians as required to repair down equipment, typing work orders, invoice completed repairs, invoice reconciliations, timekeeping and other assigned clerical duties. Must display a positive attitude toward work, be a team player, have the ability to juggle competing priorities and provide top notch customer service.
A minimum 2 years of experience within a Parts or Service Department with dispatching experience and/or related clerical experience
Possession of extraordinary customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, lift up to 40 lbs. and operate a forklift
Knowledgeable with aerial and earth moving equipment
Basic working knowledge of computer processes is necessary for day to day operations
Experience with SAP and competency in Microsoft Office Suite
A high school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry is a plus
Knowledgeable with heavy equipment brands such as Doosan
Construction and/or heavy equipment industry experience is preferred
