Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Maintenance Technician Manufacturing are to: This is a Technician position responsible for the overall operation and upkeep of custom production equipment and automation which includes performing mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs, troubleshooting and solving advanced technical problems, adhering to Product Quality and safety standards, and completing technical documentation per requirements in a regulated, cleanroom manufacturing environment. • Responsible for overall operation of production line including producing quality product to line rate standards. Performs advanced equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to facilitate such. • Responsible for identifying and executing technical training of equipment Operators and other Production Personnel • Responsible for all safety related to equipment functionality and maintenance activities including the identification of potential safety risks and adherence to OSHA standards including LOTO and Arc Flash • Responsible for leading the completion of equipment configuration and tool changes • Responsible for leading Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities • Responsible for leading the technical investigation of exception events or quality issues and identifying and executing immediate corrections • Responsible to ensure that line is maintained within validated and calibrated state • Responsible to perform product testing utilizing production testing equipment

More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: •Required Education: 2-year trade/military school or technical associates degree •Required Technical Skills: •Demonstrated successful overall performance in the Associate Line Tech role or equivalent – 2+ years •Demonstrated operation of Mechanical / Automated assembly equipment – 4+ years •Demonstrated advanced problem solving or troubleshooting skills – 4+ years •Demonstrated knowledge and troubleshooting of system controls and logic – 3+ year •Demonstrated knowledge and direct maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems – 4+ years •Demonstrated mathematical and measurement skills to interpret specifications used in the set-up of machinery and test equipment – 3+ year •Direct operation of measurement and test equipment – 3+ year •Demonstrated ability to interpret and utilize drawings and schematics to perform equipment set-up, troubleshooting and repair – 4+ years •Demonstrated ability to follow technical directions such as adhering to operational or testing procedures – 4+ years •Demonstrated technical writing skills used in the creation maintenance reports, calibration logs and technical investigations – 4+ years •Demonstrated understanding and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) – 4+ years •Demonstrated ability to identify required and maintain equipment and tool inventory – 4+ years •Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft Office software – 3+ year •Demonstrated application of preventative maintenance programs and systems – 2+ years •Demonstrated successful delivery of technical training – 2+ years •Demonstrated experience with OSHA regulations including LOTO and Arc Flash requirements – 2+ years
