Position Description

The Senior Global Mobility Analyst develops, communicates, implements and oversees all human resources aspects of USRelocations, International & Domestic Assignments, Policies, and Procedures. He/she interfaces with Payroll on all aspects of global mobility and administers and interprets policies and regulations to ensure accurate delivery of allowances as well as special items such as moving expenses. The Sr Global Mobility Analyst manages our vendor partners to ensure proper execution of services. He/she leads special projects including review annual merit increases for international assignees to ensure proper updates are made to employee records and vendors make appropriate updates and reviews, audits and updates balance sheets for new and existing assignees. The Mobility Analyst monitors assignee system record update and updates and distributes internal tracking and with updated assignee information to relevant parties.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Oversee US Domestic Relocation, Expatriates, or international transfers through coordinating, developing, and/or managing the following with Allergan’s Global Mobility Vendor Partners.

  • Recommend improvements to programs, policies and administration of the mobility process to meet business needs

  • Provide mobility-related expertise to local office managers, HR Business Partners and to facilitate the use of mobility policies and procedures

  • Act as a resource to local office mobility coordinators to develop a high level of customer service and a support model for transferees inbound to their office

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations and relationships with external vendors

  • Capture and circulate best practices for the mobility life-cycle

  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure proper budgeting and accrual information for assignments are communicated

  • Liaise with HR Service Delivery team for employee record updates

  • Maintain and improve the process for tracking transfers and producing metrics for keystakeholders

  • Monitor internal systems to ensure records, policies, and procedures are kept current

  • Less than 10% travel


  • At least 3 years’ experience in Global Mobility

  • Baseline understanding of global payroll practices

  • Proven ability to work productively, both independently and as an integral member of

  • various teams

  • Analytical comfort and ability

  • Ability to perform multiple complex tasks

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Ability and willingness to attend calls to accommodate different time zones

  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Workdays skills a plus
