The overall objective of this position will be to ensure that ICG businesses comply with the Citi Information Security policies, standards, and practices regarding employee entitlements and segregation of duties (SoD). The Senior Analyst role is responsible for working with corporate teams to identify workers whom have outlier entitlements that do not match with members of the same team.

As a new program the candidate will be expected to assist with the creation and streamlining of the process. Once outlier entitlements are identified the Senior Analyst would work with managers to determine if the access is appropriate, and record the manager’s justification or assist with removal of the entitlement. This position will require follow-up and escalation where necessary in order to ensure that the entitlements are reviewed in a timely manner and with sufficient understanding by the managers.

The candidate will primarily work with the ICG Information Security core team, the individual worker’s direct or matrix manager, and occasionally the in-business network of Global Information Security Officers (GISOs) to meet ongoing program milestones and implement new & sustainable IS Risk Management processes, while identifying opportunities for BAU process improvement. Day-to-day formal leadership will come from Restricted Access Team Lead.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and tracking of business-specific outlier entitlement reports and processes.

• Work with managers to remediate identified outlier entitlements, escalating where necessary

• Identify opportunities for process improvement at both the Corporate and ICG level across all areas of the IAM program.

• Assist in the creation month end metrics and tracking to highlight outstanding issues and progress for each month

• Ensure that reporting and data is accurate and timely following established cross check procedures or developing own methodologies.

• Provide Ad-Hoc reporting related to areas of expertise for the program.

• Manage program data and ensure integrity and accuracy.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years work experience in information security, audit, compliance and/or operational risk

  • Strong analytical experience

  • Project Management experience strongly preferred

  • Understanding of EERs and entitlements a plus

  • Must have intermediate MS Excel and basic MS Access skills

  • SharePoint knowledge a plus

  • Must be a self-starter

  • Must have strong written/verbal communication skills

  • Must have the ability to escalate and present to senior management

  • Must be a delivery-oriented person and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must have advanced analytical and problem solving skills

  • CISSP, CISM or CISA certifications a strong plus
