As a member of the Global Electronic Banking Channels Technology management team, you will lead and partner with the business to set the direction for the recognized industry leading CitiDirect platform. This is a very dynamic role and requires a leader who is energetic, highly motivated and focused on developing innovative solutions that will allow CitiDirect to retain and enhance its leadership position in this space. Given the Global nature of this role it is imperative that the person fulfilling this position have strong inter personal skills and an affinity for partnering across a variety of teams to achieve the desired results.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be handling the following (but not limited to) responsibilities:
Provide leadership and technical direction to the CitiDirect Engineering team.
Create an environment that encourages innovation while effectively identifying, communicating and managing risk.
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and projects of varying sizes and complexity across multiple organizations.
Be the focal contact point and provide clear and timely communication throughout the application development lifecycle and work with internal and external partners to design, validate and deliver solutions with a commercial benefit for Citi.
Maintain and enhance existing vendor relationships creating an atmosphere of Partnership through mutual benefit and common goals.
Monitor the CitiDirect organization’s overall progress towards their commitments, proactively identifying and responding to any risks or issues, which may arise.
Manage the overall delivery budget for CitiDirect, develop and execute against both short and long term resource plans, develop succession plans and ensure that all staff are continuously provided with challenging growth opportunities.

Knowledge / Experience
Experience of delivering complex programs involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations
Experience in managing a Software Engineering team consisting of multiple technologies, Java and .Net preferred, and disciplines across a number of locations
Experience in the financial industry experience ideally in payments, receivables, trade, and liquidity
Proven track record in inspiring innovative solutions to deliver large volume, performant enterprise level solutions from initiation to production deployment
Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Able to present complex technical issues in a business context. Able to present options, both tactical and strategic, and to clearly explain the value and risk of each so that proper business decisions can be made.
Creative problem solver comfortable with working in rapidly evolving and changing environment.
Strong technical design skills, experience with Java and/or .Net preferred
Strong understanding of the Financial services business sector
Highly effective written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational, program and project management skills.
Promote and drive continuous process improvement especially in code quality, testability and reliability Qualifications
At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role
A bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualifications
Experience working with innovative and emerging technology
