Allergan, a leader in women's healthcare, is seeking a product director for the flagship oral contraceptive (OC) brand. In this role, the successful candidate would provide expertise to advance the consumer promotions, including the distinctive unbranded platform and a branded campaign re-launch. The candidate would also lead market innovation, with a focus on new channels for women to access contraception and models for copay support. In this role, the incumbent would work closely with legislative affairs and multi-channel marketing to stay at the forefront of external market factors, including legislation and technology, impacting the OC business. The candidate would also play an integral role in the development of brand strategic and tactical plans and assume responsibility for managing the promotional budget.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
Consumer Promotion: Customer Insights and Strategy, Concept and Message Platforms, Metrics
Market Innovation and Development: Evolution with new technologies and contraceptive legislation
Access: Copay Strategy and Execution, including benefit design and execution platforms
The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:
At least 7 years of brand management experience, including tenure in the pharmaceutical industry.
At least 3-5 years tenure in pharmaceutical brand management.
Experience in market development, pharmaceutical sales, or women's health is a plus.
Alternate experience, relevant to the required skillset, will be considered.
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA or other relevant advanced degree strongly preferred.
