Kforce Field Service Technician I in Las Vegas, Nevada

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Las Vegas, NV.Essential Functions:

  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals

  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems

  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups

  • Trains employees; identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures; orders and replaces parts as needed

  • Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs

  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

  • Works under immediate supervision

  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment

  • Typically reports to a project leader or manager

  • May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

  • Prefer CompTIA A+, but not required; mechanically inclined with hardware/break-fix technical skills sets

  • Highly focused and disciplined able to address assigned training (quick learner)

  • Reliable and available transportation

  • Nevada State Driver's License with good driving record

  • Flexible schedule for weekends and afterhours as needed

  • Good verbal communication (English) and solid writing (typed and hand written) skills

  • Detail and process orientated - Will need to be able to follow instructions communicate with appointed contacts as well as interact with customers and provide follow-up for directions or notification of case status and approvals

  • Good work ethic and works with a sense of urgency to meet SLA and deadlines

  • Able to work independently and as a team
