We are currently seeking a Product Manager who understands and analyzes complex business problems to be solved with our cloud-based software. The Product Manager is tasked with guiding enhancements and new features from start to finish and will be recognised as the subject matter expert for the new features and related functionality, across different European markets. This is an on-site position and will be located in our London office however the ability to speak German would be hugely advantageous.
Assist the sales organization as a subject matter expert related to country-specific functional requirements and configurations
Participate in sales meetings, as needed, when country-specific expertise is required
Gather and understand complex requirements from client requests and internal initiatives, with a focus on regional requirements
Produce written documentation on country-specific configuration recommendations
Collaborate with teams including Development, Usability, Quality Assurance, Implementation, Account Services and Sales to ensure high quality solutions
Contribute in brainstorming on complex requirements, both internally as well as directly with customer
Understand and be able to communicate the product roadmap
Work with Sales Engineers to design solutions to meet prospect needs, explain new features and the business problems they solve.
Support marketing efforts on whitepapers, sales decks, messaging, analyst discussions, and conference attendance
Participate in customer engagement opportunities
Assist in the prioritization of strategic initiatives each release
Engage with other SAP Product Managers on joint initiatives
We’re Looking For:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information Technology, Business Administration or other discipline industry related.
5 years of experience working as a Product Manager or equivalent experience working with a VMS, Cloud and/or SAAS solution.
Role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and demonstrated ability to translate client requirements into system functionality.
Understanding of business systems, ability to multitask on diverse requirements, understanding of Software development Lifecycle and techniques, and experience in the development of system documentation or training materials.
Preferred that candidates have experience working directly within a software development team
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Visio
Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
German Language skills
