Provide overall guidance and support to ensure project meets business objectives
Create and receive approval for project plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log
Collaborate with business and stakeholders and create project plan in accordance with business needs and with all stakeholders identified. Working cross businesses teams.
Ensure funding has been approved for the project and manage project expenditure
Identify project risks and collaborate with the Project Sponsors, when appropriate
Manage vendor performance as required
Lead project development, design and implementation
Work with project stakeholders to ensure project implementation
Create project plan and collaborate on benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log
Manage resources for project
Identify, document, and understand project dependencies
Identify key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition
Manage project costs, including tracking, identifying variances, and reforecasting project costs as needed
Measure project management performance against standards
Manage project staffing levels
Create project communication needs and project communication plan
Create the project risk management plan
Collaborate with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts
Manage multiple (2 - 3) complex projects, meeting aggressive deliverable dates. Manage cross functional areas and display heightened ability to communicate clearly and concisely with technical and business teams.
Ensure that all development and deployment of business solutions adheres to Citi Technology and Project Management guidelines. Perform all tasks following applicable Citi Policies and Procedures, ensuring a high level of integrity.
Maintenance of accurate Change Control and Project Tracking (PTR) Logs and providing timely reporting during all phases of the project.
Monitoring and tracking of expenses incurred. Management of project resources in a highly matrix environment
Manage the overall plan for the business related activities, including development of overall project. Projects are delivered on time, meet requirements and are within budget.
Provide presentations to senior management (as needed) and be able to explain complex topics in appropriate business level language to garner understanding and approval of projects.
Management of service providers for BAU lifecycle
Issues and new developments are communicated accurately, managed from initiation through implementation, and are delivered in a timely manner, articulate change management procedures as needed.
Perform other duties as requested.
5 - 7 years experience with financial service industry
Capable of managing 2 - 3 complex projects simultaneously, concurrently with providing project and BAU support tasks
Ability to successfully manage relationships with business/ technology representatives and vendors.
Flexibility to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to modify based upon new business directives.
Understand funding procurement and activities related to requisitioning funds for the project lifecycle
Bachelor's Degree required and Project Management basics
Technology/Operational background (KYC platforms, Product Platforms, AML systems), some programming exposure to understand the development life cycle standards.
Strong business analyst background in preparing business requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management.
Strong project/time management skills (deadline/result oriented and able to multi-task)
Excellent written/communication skills in English and orally in Spanish (preferable)
