Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health in Macon, GA, provides mental health services to assist adults with psychiatric disorders in a safe, nurturing environment. Services include inpatient care, partial hospitalization programs, outpatient programs, a senior behavioral health center, numerous support groups and our 24/7 mental health lifeline proving a telephone resource for people who are struggling with mental health disorders.
We are looking for a new Director of the Behavioral Health Lifeline program, to report director to the AVP of Behavioral Services and to design, implement, coordinate, monitor and provide changes as needed to our comprehensive clinical assessment function, inbound crisis line service available to all community inquirers and precertification/concurrent review utilization management function for Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health. He/she will provide direct supervision to staff; leadership, consultation and support to service unit treatment teams and will function as a member of the management team and coordinate program growth and planning with the Assistant Vice President of Behavioral Health.

Attends in-service presentations and completes all mandatory education requirements.

Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, reach, crouch, finger, grasp, feel.
Must be able to perform CPR.
Must have the ability to express ideas by means of the spoken word to others accurately, loudly or quickly.
Must be able to perceive the nature of sounds with no less than a 40 db loss at Hz 1,000 Hz and 2,000 Hz without correction.
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound.
Visual acuity to analyze data and figures, including items seen on computer terminals and written pages.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:A Masters Degree in the field of Behavioral Sciences or Nursing from an accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:At least five years experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting offering a variety of treatment modalities; at least two years of management experience.
RN, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Equivalent
Must maintain certification for CPI and CPR per hospital policy
