Customer Service:

  • Monitors customers’ accounts and portfolios providing regular market updates and advice through regular calls and meetings

  • Proactively seeks to establish and understand customers’ real needs and expectations

  • Executes sales and investment strategies/activities effectively

  • Helps customers build their wealth through Citibank’s unique wealth planner and tracker

  • Takes responsibility for resolving issues with customers’ portfolios

  • Builds and develops relationships with customers, e.g., through accompanying them at social/ lifestyle events

  • Drives efforts in the team to identify and implement improved customer service behaviors (e.g. through active contribution during ‘daily huddles’)

  • Meets agreed service targets


  • Proactively makes appointments and meets with clients to establish their requirements

  • Helps the customer understand which product or investment would best suit their needs, offering alternatives as appropriate

  • Engages the support of specialists to provide technical advice to customers when necessary

  • Networks with customers in order to create new business contacts

  • Analysis trends in the local/niche market as well as customer profiles to identify potential sales opportunities

  • Meets agreed sales targets


  • Keeps up to date with new banking products and services; their features, benefits and details

  • Is up to date with compliance and operational procedures

Paperwork and Administration:

  • Completes all paperwork and updates all systems accurately and in a timely manner

  • Follows up with back office on customers’ applications, etc.

  • Responds to all client and internal emails in a timely manner

Additional duties as required:

  • Assists with other duties as required such as internal training, networking events and product seminars


  • Tertiary education

  • Banking sales experience

  • Banking and investment products (desirable)

  • Basic systems knowledge

  • Understanding of Credit/Commercial Banking

  • Local Banking Regulations (as applicable)
