Acquiring Relationship Manager:


  • Proactively calls customers to interest them in Citi’s personal banking services securing a meeting when appropriate

  • Meets with customers either in the branch or at an external venue to try to secure sales

  • Provides product information to customers as appropriate, outlining features and benefits

  • Identifies cross-selling opportunities to sell other products

  • Refers customers to another member of the Sales team when appropriate

  • Achieves or exceeds agreed sales targets

Customer Service:

  • Monitors prospective customers’ applications from start to finish, liaising with back-office when necessary

  • Follows up with customers to check their expectations have been met

  • Takes responsibility for resolving issues with product sales

  • Invites prospective customers to events (e.g. marketing, lifestyle events, product seminars)


  • Attends weekly talks by specialists to develop product knowledge and help qualify customers

  • Paperwork and Administration:

  • Completes all paperwork and updates all systems accurately and in a timely manner

  • Follows up with back office on customers’ applications, etc.

  • Responds to all prospective customer and internal emails in a timely manner


  • Basic IT skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), email

  • Basic numerical reasoning skills– understanding figures and performing simple calculations

  • Basic verbal reasoning skills – understanding written information e.g. product details, etc.
