IBM Performance Digital Strategist - Cloud Middleware in MARKHAM, Ontario

If you live and breathe digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, track and optimize IBM digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.A Digital Strategist is responsible for:

  • Digital strategy - putting together a strategy inclusive of organic, paid and outbound Marketing tactics

  • Building and executing paid media campaigns; paid search, content syndication and re-targeting

  • Designing, building and maintaining social media presence

  • Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs)

  • Identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend and performance based on the insights

  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve IBM Web presence and optimize user experience

  • Collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners

  • Evaluating emerging technologies. Providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 2+ years experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

  • 2+ years experience in creatively identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • 2+ years experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

  • Degree in Marketing or closely-related field

  • Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

  • Presentation and executive communication skills -- the ability to sell the strategy, ideas and recommendations.
