Passenger Services Representative
GENERAL DUTIES (not all inclusive):
Responsible for manifesting, coordinating, reporting, and transport of all USAP passengers.
Utilizes personnel tracking software to manifest passengers on all USAP passenger flights.
Coordinates commercial airline and accommodation requests for all redeploying USAP personnel.
Formats and sends accurate and timely Departure Messages for all intercontinental and intracontinental flights.
Creates Passenger Priority lists and submits for approval to the ASC Station Manager for passenger movements as required.
Will work a 54-hour workweek rotating shifts.
Performs passengers check in and provides Load Planner with passenger summary information.
Performs bellboy pickup service upon request, as required.
Updates the ATO Flight Information Channel, Flight Editor, Flight Board and station intranet as required.
Communicates via two-way radio in accordance with proper radio etiquette and procedures.
Picks up and transports all passengers to and from the airfield ramp while obeying all airfield safety requirements as required.
Conducts tours for the USAF C-17 crew members as required.
Generates and posts Bag Drag and Transport manifests
Safely operates and services 10-15 passenger Vans and Foremost Delta II’s, when designated to drive.
Performs and Records daily routine prevention maintenance checks on all vehicles, as required.
Handles confidential matters (personnel actions, management reports, etc.) in accordance with management policy.
Performs a variety of clerical duties such as typing, word processing, answering phones and filing.
Must be able to climb in and out of tall vehicles and work outdoors in below freezing temperatures.
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Performs other duties as required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid driver's License required. Minimum of two years of Customer Service and Computer experience is required.
Previous experience in a travel services position is preferred.
Willingness and ability to deploy to Antarctica for extended periods is required.
Must successfully complete the physical, dental and psychological (if applicable) examinations as required by the NSF for deploying to Antarctica.
Must participate in community programs, such as “house-mouse” (chores), “daisy-picking” (cleaning-up around the station), recycling efforts and safety objectives.
US citizenship is required.
