The physician works as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with members of the team to provide medical care to Veterans enrolled in the clinic. *

This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time permanent Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physician to work in our Primary Care Clinic in Meadville, PA, approximately 30 miles from Erie, PA. We offer malpractice protection, generous salaries, performance pay and benefits; 26 days paid vacation per year. In addition, the Erie VAMC utilizes evidence-based protocols and electronic patient care records/reports. The physician works as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with members of the team to provider medical care to Veterans enrolled in the clinic. The Primary care Physician duties include:
Provides comprehensive primary care services
Performs physical examinations
Ordering of laboratory and diagnostic studies
Diagnosis and formulate treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM with no after hours call

Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
