*The Erie VA Medical Center has immediate opening for a physician to provide outpatient care at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Meadville, PA, approximately 30 miles from Erie, PA. The physician works as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with members of the team to provide medical care to Veterans enrolled in the clinic. *

This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time permanent Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physician to work in our Primary Care Clinic in Meadville, PA, approximately 30 miles from Erie, PA. We offer malpractice protection, generous salaries, performance pay and benefits; 26 days paid vacation per year. In addition, the Erie VAMC utilizes evidence-based protocols and electronic patient care records/reports. The physician works as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with members of the team to provider medical care to Veterans enrolled in the clinic. The Primary care Physician duties include:

  • Provides comprehensive primary care services

  • Performs physical examinations

  • Ordering of laboratory and diagnostic studies

  • Diagnosis and formulate treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions

Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM with no after hours call

  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.

  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.

  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.

  • U.S. Citizen
