Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing 2 Med Surg Tele units including Neuro and Dialysis patients to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis.
_Responsibilities Include:_ * Oversee successful daily department operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction goals/objectives * Supervise FTE’s including performance and departmental accomplishments to meet facility and regulatory requirements * Promote teamwork with physicians and all health care providers * Act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians and employees to ensure high-quality patient care * Manage unit supplies and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize costs For more information contact Elizabeth.Flader@HCAHealthcare.com #LI-EFL
_Qualifications:_ * Current Florida Nursing License, graduate from an accredited school of nursing * BSN required, Master’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred * BLS, ACLS certifications required * Minimum of 7 years of hospital clinical experience, must have Telemetry experience * Neuro experience a plus * 3-5 years full-time management experience in the acute care environment
