Position Summary:

The Client Segment area is responsible for the definition and implementation of the Segment strategy for IPB US clients and for providing a differentiated service and unique experience to them.

The Client Segment analyst will:

  • Drive robust program of re-classifications, ensuring that ‘true’ or qualifying segment customers are in the correct value propositions

  • Implement and maintain a robust MIS to properly measure the impact of the IPB US Client Segments Strategy and align MIS and metrics to Global and US Retail standards

  • Identify customer needs and address these by implementing remarkable and differentiated experiences

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a differentiated standards of service and value propositions for each of IPB US segments

  • Map all clients, segments and management teams to identify opportunities of reclassification within our existing clients

  • Assist the Sr. Lead Analyst in the implementation of action plan

  • Work with Decision Management team in developing and maintaining comprehensive and appropriate MIS and measurement mechanism

  • Own the Monthly Client Segments deck

  • Support the Client Segment Head and the Client Experience team in the NPS process. Align the NPS survey to US Retail and Global guideline

  • Development, management and delivery of statistical analysis techniques related to Client Segments


  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience. Degree in Business, Marketing or Economics preferred

  • Relevant work experience in strategy or segment roles, preferably Financial Services.

  • Problem Solving and strong analytical skills

  • Familiar with financial business for non-resident aliens

  • Good interpersonal skills and experienced with managing relationships at all level

  • A strong team player - Must be team oriented and collaborative

  • Able to meet deadlines under pressure

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others

  • Positive attitude, proactive, change promoter

  • Excellent Excel –including Visual Basic- and PowerPoint skills.

  • Knowledge of SAS and SQL (preferred)

  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish or Portuguese)
