Child & Family Services of RI Human Resources Generalist in Middletown, Rhode Island

Job Summary:

• With guidance from the Vice President of HR, manages the following Human Resources functions, including but not limited to: 401K administration, compliance (posters, EEO reporting, etc.), workers’ compensation, compensation/benefits, unemployment, HR administration and HR metrics for a workforce of 200 employees. • Aides in the development and implementation of creative HR initiatives, activities and processes • Advises Agency management in Human Resources policy & procedures and various program matters • Helps drive the HR function as a member of a small team


• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field preferred • Broad generalist background including 401K administration, compensation & benefits, on-boarding, HR metrics, performance management, teambuilding, as well as HR administration • Minimum of five years of successful, progressive HR experience that includes at least three years in a generalist capacity and/or two years in a supervisory role
