The CEC (Customer Engagement and Commerce) portfolio covers CRM (both cloud and on premise) and Omni channel commerce/marketing portfolio. The primary goal for the CEC Solution Sales Executive is to truly challenge the market, by showing the value of SAP CEC (Customer Engagement and Commerce) cloud solutions with a focus on Small and Medium Businesses (SMB)

We are specifically looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our growing team and drive sales initiatives into SMB accounts in Italy. Our goal is to create an environment for the sales team to achieve their quarterly revenue goal for a large territory of customers and prospects across industries, with a special focus on product and process manufacturing, Consumer products and Services. The CEC Solution Sales Executive will work with the wider SMB sales and sales management team to develop and drive account strategy, to identify and qualify new opportunities, and to execute the sales cycle of his/her account(s) to closing.

The CEC Senior Solution Sales Executive cooperates with various SAP teams on positioning and delivery of complex proposals to customers, and proactively builds successful relationships with SAP local VARs and strategic partners. He/She develops an opportunity plan leveraging the value proposition of all of SAP's solutions and services relevant to the customers and prospects, in close cooperation with partners active n the territory


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell value and ROI into C-Level business decision makers,

  • Develop in depth knowledge of SAP’s Customer (CRM, Social Marketing) and Commerce (Hybris) applications and effectively sell to clients

  • Align SAP Cloud solutions with the customer’s strategic objectives

  • Manage and drive multiple concurrent sales cycles effectively

  • Qualify and forecast deals accurately

  • Build strong & maintain strong client relationships to pave the way for additional future sales

  • Work closely with SAP AE’s to cross-sell into existing SAP accounts

  • Work in close sync with partners and local VARs

  • Penetrate new accounts to attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named accounts

  • Ability to adapt and function effectively in fast-paced, changing environment

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years overall sales cycle experience, including significant time as a field representative

  • 3 years experience selling business application software or SaaS solutions to C-Level business decision makers at large enterprise corporations

  • A record of taking initiative (self-starter), driving results, and accepting increasing levels of responsibility

  • Proven history of being a top performer in a company for multiple years running

  • Well rounded understanding of business, partner and project management practices

  • Possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, positive attitude and creativity

  • High standard of excellence, professionalism, and role model behavior

  • Interaction with senior executives across multiple industries. Previous experience in Public Sector, Media, Services, Transportation and Pharma is preferable

  • Strong C-level/board level communication and presentation skills

  • Able to rapidly assimilate and distil complex topics

  • In depth knowledge of the most relevant players in the CEC space is a plus: SF, VLocity, Oracle, Msft.
