Minneapolis VA Health Care System (VAHCS) is a teaching hospital providing a full range of patient care services with state-of-the-art technology, as well as education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, tertiary care and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics and extended care.
Applicant's education and experience will be reviewed by a Professional Standards Board and Compensation Panel (for physicians and dentists) in determining the grade and salary of the applicant selected. The recommended salary may be at any point in the range listed for this vacancy.

The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) seeks full-time Telehealth Hub providers for the Patient Aligned care Team(PACT) serving eight Health Care Systems in VISN 23. This position will primarily function to provide Primary Care gap coverage to various Health Care System's throughout the VISN using Telehealth modalities but may include face-to-face care intermittently. Successful candidates must possess a current Medical License, graduated from an accredited Medical School, and be board eligible and/or board certified in an appropriate specialty. Essential qualifications include demonstration of clinical competence, exercise good clinical judgment and exhibit problem-solving skills for clinical management of illnesses/diseases seen in the Primary Care outpatient clinic. Additionally candidates with experience in women's health are preferred. Maintain commitment to continue professional development through independent study, continuing education, presentations, research/evaluation endeavors and re-certification. - Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
