We are seeking senior support analysts within the global Citi Prime Finance Production Management organization. The successful candidate will join the team as a member of the technology application support function. The team is responsible for supporting a wide range of in-house developed applications used by Prime Brokerage internal users and external clients globally as part of a follow-the-sun team. These roles are incremental, to cover incremental client onboarding and take on support of all Fixed Income Prime Brokerage support from other groups.
The core responsibility of the team is to provide dedicated support for business, middle office and operations users for technology issues, owning issues through to resolution. The team is required both to investigate issues directly, as well as working with colleagues in the extended support team globally and application development colleagues. Strong communication skills are key to success in this role.
The role will be extremely varied in nature, incorporating both hands-on support and issue incident & problem management skills. As part of the overriding goal of providing a stable platform to the business, the successful candidate can expect to be involved in array of short and longer term stability projects including ITRS monitoring and manual task automation. As part of these, the individual will be required to partner with disparate teams in other countries/regions and as such strong communication and organizational skills will be required. The role will require the development of strong business knowledge of Prime Finance.

To provide direct application support to the Prime Finance businesses globally.
To develop, maintain and enhance monitoring solutions, which will require scripting knowledge to create advanced monitoring solutions.
To monitor and maintain platform stability during all business hours (7am to 7pm on a shift basis).
To be the primary point of contact between the business and other technology teams.
Effectively communicate issues and status updates with business users, second level support, and development teams.
Create and maintain a knowledge base to ensure that knowledge transfer takes place within the team.
Required Skills / Experience:
5 years’ experience working in a support environment.
Background of hands-on application support (not necessarily in a recent role).
Background of technical skills such as UNIX, SQL or scripting
Understanding of problem management methodologies
Knowledge/experience of problem management tools
Experience using ticketing software
1 - 3 years of SQL experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems
Experience using/troubleshooting Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge / working experience of ITRS Active Console
Knowledge / prior experience of support Prime Brokerage and/or Securities Lending desks is an asset.
