PAE is seeking All Senior WTI Analysts. This person will function as part of a team. The analyst shall be responsible for:

  • Conducting technical intelligence analysis of IED and other improvised weapon system incidents, fusing the intelligence with other forensic data and all-source intelligence data to provide attribution of individuals and groups to devices and events

  • Analyzing devices and events to determine technical profiles and signatures

  • Identifying insurgent and IED networks, which include leaders, facilitators financiers, cell members and bomb makers through links discovered to identify potential targets for possible lethal and non-lethal action

  • Coordinating with CITP network analysts, IED Branch, Combat Incident Analysis Division, Identify Intelligence Division, DSSE, and NGA GEOINT to support WTI Production

  • Preparing and presenting intelligence briefings and presentations

  • Evaluating information reporting and sources and answering Requests for Information (RFI)

  • Developing Source Directed Requirements (SDR), populate and maintain CITP databases, production trackers, and files

  • Being capable of deploying to theaters of operation to conduct WTI analysis

  • Producing WTI related intelligence assessments for formal production and release to the Intelligence Community (IC) and other consumers

  • Coordinating with other NGIC offices, IC and law enforcement, including the ATF and FBI Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC), and theater intelligence resources to gather additional technical and forensic data and share analytic conclusions

  • Leading efforts to identify new devices, initiators, and TTP on which to focus analytic efforts

  • Assisting in the training and mentoring of novice and journeyman analysts

Required Qualifications :

  • Current TS/SCI security clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree (may substitute 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)

  • 8 years in dealing with IEDs and related triggering device technologies as and intelligence analyst, EOD specialist or electronics technician with experience in Afghanistan preferred

  • : A badge and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with 8 years of experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/Federal Law Enforcement agency is acceptable on a case by case basis

  • Knowledgeable of improvised explosives, devices and their uses

  • Understands trend and pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, link analysis and network or social network analysis

  • Experienced with data processing systems such as DCGS-A, CIDNE, and SIPRNET and JWICS search engines

  • Working knowledge of i2 Analyst Notebook, AXIS Pro, WebTAS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth

  • Proficiency at using basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development

  • Possess strong research and writing skills and capability of effectively operating alone in support of tactical, strategic, and special forces conducting counter insurgent/IED targeting

  • Requires former MOS 18C, 180A, 31D, 311D, 35D, 35F, 350F, 35T, 35S, 89D, 94F, 94E, or civilian 0132, 1811 or service equivalent

Desired Qualifications :

Experience in either IED/C-IED, CT, Afghanistan regional issues.
