PAE is seeking a Vector Control Technician to provide support to our customer in an OCONUS location:
Essential Job Duties
Conducts daily inspections for the presence of pests
Develops and implement a pest control plan for specific work conditions
Sprays chemical solutions or toxic gasses and sets mechanical traps where pests are present
Places poisonous or sticky pastes and bait where pests are present
Ensures all chemicals and insecticides meet SHEM and OSHA standards
Removes and disposes of dead pests
Hazardous (HazMat) and trash/waste handling, storage to designated collection points
Uses cleaning equipment
Drives a service vehicle
Utilizes logistics and warehousing procedures
Participates in equipment inventories
Develops and presents training classes
Prepares and submits detailed purchase requests for vector and pest consumables and equipment
Prepares and submits reports on scheduled, unscheduled and emergency house cleaning work orders
Prepares additional reports and performs additional duties as assigned
Held within the last 5 years, an active Secret security clearance.
Minimum two years’ successful experience with vector and pest control responsibilities;
overseas experience highly desired

A high school diploma or GED is required
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change
Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information
Ability to live and work in an austere and dangerous environment
