Role Outline/Job Summary:

Human Capital Reporting and Analytics Business Unit is looking for a highly motivated, career oriented individual to build and manage Advanced Analytics capabilities in Mumbai that will support all of HR on advanced and predictive analytics around human capital. In addition, the individual will manage all strategic projects and growth initiatives in Reporting space, strategic projects and significant reengineering activities for the organization. The individual will also manage relationships with CSS Leadership, senior HR officers, and other executives including partners in Finance and Planning and Analysis. In this role, the individual will also be responsible for project and program oversight, process design, and executive management reporting of the initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should have a proven track record in delivering advanced analytics solutions in a timely fashion which can allow SHRO and Business Managers (thro’ SHROs) to assess talent risks and opportunities in a quantifiable fashion and overlay the same with management judgment to take appropriate actions

  • The candidate should be a highly versatile individual with great attention to detail and dedication to high quality work

  • S/he should have the ability to work independently, take personal initiative and develop working relationships with a broad base of senior managers and in many cases, represent Reporting Business unit in various Citi-wide initiatives around advanced analytics like Big Data etc.

  • The candidate should be able to work effectively and seamlessly with rest of the Business unit from across time zones and must demonstrate cultural sensitivity to deal with teams from across the world

  • High level of leadership characteristics including ability to handle deadline pressure, changing priorities and work through ambiguity are critical for success in the role

  • They should be someone who works effectively as part of a global team, possessing strong analytical and problem solving skills and can flourish handling multiple tasks, changing priorities and tight deadlines

Further Details on Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics techniques in real-world business problems and to deliver succinct, user-friendly analytics to help solve the same

  • Responsible for developing hypothesis around complex human capital issues and offer analytics-based solutions that are practical and actionable

  • Interfaces with Business, key stakeholders, champions and re-engineering leadership to drive reengineering activities

  • Pro-actively communicates with Senior HR Leadership thro’ Service Managers and independently, as needed

  • Creates and delivers executive, high-impact presentations

  • Provides workforce and expense related decision management information to Citi's senior executives as required for major global headcount/organization change initiatives

  • Understand the workforce strategies of the businesses and identify ways in which Reporting team can support those strategies



  • Master Degree or equivalent

  • Strong foundation in statistical techniques and decision sciences

  • 1-3 years of work experience in SAS preferably Enterprise Guide

  • Proven track record in service excellence and delivering analytical projects that aided business decision making

  • Demonstrable experience of influencing and leading across a matrixed organization

  • Highly effective communicator, able to interact with senior, global business management

  • Ability to work independently and take personal initiative

  • Experience with query building in SQL and Proc SQL

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and experience with VBA

  • Exposure to Human Capital domain will be an add on
