Location: Naperville, Illinois
Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Developer at our Naperville, Illinois location to perform impact analyses of new features or changes to existing features within the Fieldglass application.
Expectations and Tasks: Designs, develops and delivers software modules and components of varying size and complexity. Collaborates and interfaces with Team Leads and Quality Assurance during all phases of the SDLC. Maintains and supports product features in the Production, Staging, and QA environments. Creates the design specification for development from approved business cases. Executes unit and system testing of the design once the solution has been developed. Works closely with other team members to successfully deploy the code to production. 10% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.
Work Experience: Experience must involve the following: SQL; Java-J2ee; Struts; Web Services; ETL – Integration Services; Java Script – Jquery; ORM tools; AJAX; XML; JAXB; ANT; requirement gathering; Object Oriented design and modelling; DB Query Optimization; and problem solving production issues. 10% travel required.
