Cardiac Special Care is a unit that provides care for the prevention and treatment of those disease processes associated with the cardiovascular system both medical and surgical.

Patient population served, although not limited to be: * ACS

  • Rhythm Disturbances

  • Heart Failure

  • CAD

  • Cardio-Thoracic Surgery

  • Patients requiring diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, such as cardiac catheterization and cardioversion.

    Centennial Medical Center is currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) – 5 Tower – Cardiac Special Care.


  • Demon states knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.

  • Promotes customer service initiatives.

  • Utilizes nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.

  • Demonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures.

  • Documents all patient care.


  • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing

  • Current Licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing

  • Current BLS certification.

  • ACLS certification (within the first 9 months of hire.)
