Job DescriptionOur Client with a nutrition practice in midtown Manhattan seeks a seasoned admin assistant with healthcare accounts receivables experience.The ideal candidate will: * Personable, outgoing and articulate, as will be the face of the practiceBe extremely organized, resolving issues in a real-time environment. *Experience with typing and with Microsoft Office products including EXCEL spreadsheets; knowledge of Medical Office Software and experience entering payments in the medical software. *Be multitasking, hard-working and approachable with excellent communication skills. *Keen attention to detail and strong documentation skills required *Model practice values, presenting a polished professional manner and appearance. *Act with integrity to maintain patient confidentiality and maximize patient satisfaction. *Project a positive, proactive approach to achieve goals and completion of projectsRequirementsJob Description Responsibilities include: *Communicating with patients, as well as healthcare offices Continue strong relationships with referring physician offices* Investigating insurance denials and calling Insurance companies on resolving pending claims Knowledge of healthcare insurances: denied EOB-s, processing claims, appeals, collections, and timely filing procedures THIS IS A MUST. *Facilitating and assuring top quality interoffice communication *Managing appointments, calendar, conferences, supplies, etc... *Administrative duties, such as typing, filing, faxing, preparing charts and treatment records, invoices, data entry, and mailing projectsProactively addressing the needs of the business and managing office operations to their expectations Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
