Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Organizationally, Risk and Compliance includes the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity. Risk Management oversees and delivers risk services and ensures new business risks are reviewed and approved. Risk Management is organized through Chief Risk Offices for each core business and critical operation. Risk managers provide shared support to BNY Mellon for operational risk services for Global Corporate Trust, Depositary Receipts, Treasury Services and Global Operations in EMEA. Compliance helps ensure BNY Mellon's businesses maintain appropriate processes to comply with applicable laws, regulations, BNY Mellon policies and ethics. This is accomplished through business- and business partner-specific teams of professionals, under centralized global management.
The Business Continuity Analyst (Third Party Focus) will be responsible for onsite due diligence reviews of the business continuity capabilities of critical Third Parties that BNY Mellon uses to support critical business services. The analyst will also be responsible for the review of associated contracts and SLAs, as well as over see BNY Mellon's participation in testing with the Third Party. Additionally, the role is responsible for: establishing policies, procedures, tools, training and standards needed to support the review, due diligence and testing of Third Party providers business and technology capabilitites; managing the participation of BNY Mellon in joint Business Contintinuity and DR testing with critical providers; managing the review of these critical service providers contracts and SLAs as they pertain to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery; and providing back up support to existing Business Continuity staff as required during actual events. This person must possess the ability to manage diverse work, overlapping priorities and diverse vendors. Ability to motivate vendors to respond and cooperate will be required, as well as motivate the business areas to participate in required testing. Project management skills include large, complex projects with ability to delegate to others & drive accountability. Strong analytical & process orientation skills are required. This individual will have the demonstrated maturity and judgment to know when to act independently and when to drive consensus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to lead through influencing and persuasion and to relate well to people in a credible manner.
Minimum qualifications: BS/BA with 10 Years of Business Continuity / Vendor Risk / Audit / Control related experience. English is the minimum language skill. MBA is preferred.
