Purpose & Objective of Position
The individual will work closely with GCO’s Business Growth Initiatives’ Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, Planning, and Execution team in supporting strategic GTM projects that drive and enable sales growth and performance in 2016. Also, this person will serve as a key contributing member of the program management team that will lead GCO’s 2017 GTM planning initiative. In fulfilling these objectives, the individual will directly support and partner with a wide spectrum of constituents – from members of the BGI GTM team to senior executives from across GCO’s GTM community.
Expectations & Tasks
Main responsibilities include:
Partner closely with senior members of the GTM team to maximize development and competency in the GTM area
Support multiple GCO GTM strategic initiatives in the second half of 2016 as a means to drive sales performance across GCO
Support the development of GTM project deliverables
Analyze current GTM data, extract insights, and provide recommendations that support strategic GTM initiatives
Provide support for GCO’s 2017 GTM planning initiative
Partner with members of the Franchise For Success GTM team to support projects and initiatives in the second half of 2016
If able to, provide project management support for GTM projects and the 2017 GTM planning initiative
Skills / Competencies
Creative and innovative thinking
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Persistent, proactive, diligent, self-starter, with attention to detail
Project management experience a plus (but not required)
Knowledge of the software industry including GTM, sales, marketing, and partnership models would be ideal (but not required)
Educational Requirements (degrees, class completion, etc.)
Recent completion of or in-progress completion of a Bachelor’s Degree – ideally with a concentration in Business, Marketing, and/or Management – from a well-respected institution.
Requires candidates to have recently completed or be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program from a well-respected institution.
