PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
Visual artist intern who specializes in drawing editorial illustrations. Responsible for crafting 2-dimensional art forms for use in editorials, training, advertising, commentary, entertainment etc. Intern should be able to work in various formats, such as: animation, comic strips, editorial cartoons, film, graphic design, illustrations, posters, and storyboards.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
•Draw from SAP specific business perspectives and context to create cartoons that amuse, educate, or entertain readers.
•Confer with SAP team members regarding ideas
•Utilize computer software to render digital production art
•Occasionally develop live action or animated sequences.
•Meet deadlines consistently
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
•Visual artist intern who specializes in drawing cartoons
•Strong illustration skills
•Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
•Proficiency in Premier Pro, After Effects, and Audition is a plus
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:
•Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or similar
•Previous work experience is a plus
