Private Equity/Family Office is seeking an experienced Healthcare Associate for its healthcare fund. The healthcare fund invests in other healthcare investment funds and directly into healthcare related real estate and healthcare businesses. Areas of focus include senior living, healthcare intelligence, digital health, data services, and healthcare services. The Associate will be responsible for industry research, opportunity screening and due diligence, idea generation, and post investment monitoring and management. The Associate will work closely with the General Partners, legal counsel, and the CFO. There is potential travel within the United States and China Specific Responsibilities: Industry research
Actively research and analyze the healthcare industry for opportunities and risks
Identify potential investment opportunities in the context of industry trends
Understand the high level legal/regulatory environment and trends
Keep up to date on key industry developments and report to General Partners Opportunity screening and due diligence
Review incoming opportunities from an industry and financial perspective
Create financial models and identify drivers of value and risk
Create investment presentations for the investment committee
Coordinate diligence with outside advisors and lawyers
Interview management teams
Develop a pipeline of direct investment and fund investment opportunities Leverage industry tools to maximize productivity Interested in learning more?
