Senior Consultant, Software Engineer
As part of an exciting, fast paced environment developing solutions in the Digital Payments Technologies space, this position will be responsible for Operations support and Production Management of several critical applications. This position will work closely with the Software Engineering teams including Technical Leads, Architects, Software Engineers and Testers in our highly collaborative, fast paced, Agile environment.
Previously successful candidates have worked in Web, Network or Application Operations. The candidate should have a strong analytical and problem solving ability.
Provide support to the existing Global Customer Service teams on Level 2 & 3 issues.
Troubleshoot, identify root cause and resolve complex problems related to the applications.
Participate in a 24x7 production support rotation schedule.
Provide leadership and oversight across global teams.
Serve as a liaison between the Development and Global Customer Service teams to ensure smooth hand-off and timely delivery of software
Drive problem resolution and develop work around solutions.
Provide post implementation release support.
Communicate release updates to business and management teams.
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to provide premier technical assistance to both internal and external clients.
Participate in Change Management activities.
Java, J2EE, Java Messaging Service, JBoss, Apache, HTTP and TCP/IP Protocols

All About You
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Experience with a related IT Field leading Technical Teams.
Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, quick learner, capable of adapting to MasterCard culture and able to work in a very FAST paced team.
Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive and have the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
Listening, oral, written and presentation skills and effective interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships.
Demonstrate ethics and values to generate high team trust.
