A core element of the transformation for Citi’s Consumer Retail Bank & Mortgage (USRBM) businesses will be the design and development of end-to-end digital solutions to drive revenue growth, achieve efficiencies, increase NPS, and maintain relevancy as the pace of digitization accelerates. The Shared Services Digital team will work across all elements of the businesses and key functional partners including Global Consumer Digital Experience, FinTech and Operations & Technology to create and deliver smart, client-centric, and best-in-class digital solutions to market.
The Digital Mortgage team within CitiMortgage focuses on digital initiatives across the spectrum of customer journeys. The group consists of digital product managers who work closely with many stakeholders including sales, fulfillment, servicing, developers, interactive designers, marketers, finance, legal, compliance, and project support and operations staff.
CitiMortgage is seeking a highly effective and innovative Digital Mortgage Product Management professional to lead this team. In this role, the candidate will work on defining and delivering our digital mortgage roadmaps that make sense for our customers and are clearly support by our stakeholders. This individual will have to manage a team that quickly understand business’ unique needs and apply his/her expertise to help the business drive to a solution that meets business objectives. He/she will then collaborate with engineering teams to see through the execution and product development lifecycle. The individual will work closely with business, technology, and third party vendors, and manage an ever evolving roadmap. If successful, these products provide added value to the business unit, Citi a whole, and most importantly, delivering a better digital experience to our customers.
Develop, drive, and own the digital mortgage roadmap
Serve as team lead and cross-functional leader to collaborate with design, engineering and marketing teams to drive new marketing product initiatives
Develop products and services that deliver innovative experiences and at the same time remove friction from the mortgage process
Define new product feature business cases working collaboratively with business and engineering teams across Citi to ensure a unified product landscape;
Create concise, compelling content and business case to present and sell concepts through to senior management;
Create and manage team to create clear product requirements that are easily understood by business and engineering partners and then validate delivery against those requirements;
Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives;
Help define product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into product roadmaps;
Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs. Identify market opportunities and define product strategy to reflect those;
Lead cross-functional team across multiple scrum teams, environments teams, QA, designers, content editorial for on-time delivery;
Track and manage business case metrics and financial planning models ensuring that product delivery stays on track and on budget;
Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term;
Coordinate backlog for defect resolution. Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, wire-frames, product requirements to support development;
Work with existing vendors; perform new vendor analysis (e.g., proof of concepts), carry through vendor on-boarding process, managing relationships, vendor negotiations, managing initial product integration requirements;
Maintain, evolve, and communicate best practices and lessons learned. Apply learning to improve process and delivery of marketing solutions.
Make difficult by necessary digital roadmap prioritization decisions to ensure the right stuff gets delivered.

Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model;
Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under intense pressure;
Ability to demonstrate deep knowledge of development lifecycle - agile is a plus
8 years experience related to online and mobile product development
Strong knowledge of current digital mortgage trends
Ability to build high-level mocks for concept sharing for prototype phase
Demonstrate people management and team-building skills
Strong written and presentation skills
Analytical with a focus on KPI’s and measurement
Financial services preferred but not required
Undergraduate degree in a related field required - BS or MS in Business Management, Engineering, or comparable field of study
