Job Description Prepares, modifes and maintains plans, designs, drawings, and schematics for co mponents and systems. Performs moderately complex drafting tasks typically usin g computer equipment. Works from sketches, notes, and verbal instructions. Uses computer-aided design (CAD) systems to prepare layouts and drawings. May perf orm site surveys and incorporate them into CAD files. May work with engineers i n specific disciplines, which may require some knowledge of that discipline. Pe rforms complex tasks requiring the consideration of multiple variables to deter mine proper course of action. Receives general guidance/supervision but normall y works independently on mastered tasks. May require an Associates Degree and 4 -6 years related experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices , and procedures within a particular field.-Supports drawing package creation a nd submittal for team supporting information technology (IT)/command and contro l (C2) electronic systems equipment infrastructure installation, configuration, and transition to operations for new USAF C2 Facility.

Required Skills May require an Associates Degree and 4-6 years related experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Familiarity and/or experience with SPAWAR Installation Requirements Drawing (IRD) Standard is desired.

Department Our services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems.
