General Clerk III – FOSS Functional Area Supervisor
The FOSS Functional Area Supervisor is responsible for oversight of an assigned location within a single geographic location. The Functional Area Supervisor shall ensure that the site is operating efficiently and effectively in all areas to include equipment, maintenance, contractor staff, and security.
Supervises the FOSS staff and provides guidance on issues such as administration, property control, facility maintenance, safety, security, customer service, and daily production and staffing as required by the contract.
Communicates frequently with FOSS staff to ensure they are informed of relevant program announcements, issues, etc.
Schedule staff in accordance with FOSS staffing model.
Prepares and submits timely and accurate reports to the Management. These deliverables may include production reports, customer service reports, employee timesheet reports, employee training records and evaluations, quarterly inventory of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Significant Incident Reports, and other documents as necessary or requested.
Train new FOSS staff employees using the SOP and other training tools and documentation as issued.
Ensures adherence to company and Program workplace policies and coordinates with the Management and PMO HR on resolution of personnel behavior or performance issues.
Maintains close coordination with the Site Manager and or Assistant Site Manager on operational issues.
Maintains a professional and cooperative relationship with USCIS personnel.
Ensures all documents and records required for the administration of the site are properly maintained.
Oversee equipment, maintenance, contractor staff, and security.
Submits timely recruiting and employment documents, as required.
Jump in and complete work of staff as required.
The Functional Area Supervisor shall have a minimum of 2 years of previous relevant experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
United States Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (if not already cleared).
Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to work under pressure of deadlines, and contract performance standards.
Ability to work collaboratively using oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with and motivate others.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous Supervisory experience preferred.
