Join a company that continues to grow year over year as an account manager. The ideal account manager candidate will have the proven ability to build relationships in a sales based environment. As an account manager, you will be working with a variety of individuals from pediatrics to the elderly, and must be patient and empathetic. In addition, you will be establishing relationships with manufacturers and medical facilities throughout the area.
Account manager responsibilities include:
Coordinating supply purchases with customer, insurance company, and billing specialist.
Verifying customer receipt of HIPAA Privacy Practices, Release of Information/Authorization of Benefits, Medicare Supplier Standards, and Grievance/Complaint Policy
Coordinating deliveries and training
Providing prospective users with general knowledge/brochures of the products
Promoting and explaining the company to prospective patients, physicians, nurses, other healthcare professionals, and community groups
Providing follow-up for upgrade sales
Attending exhibits to promote the company
Abiding by all policies and procedures
Performing other duties as assigned
Account manager requirements include:
Bachelor's degree required
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information
Proven ability to manage territory budget
Consistent track record of quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments
Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and act upon sales data within an assigned geography
Solid business acumen including excellent and persuasive business communication
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion and to analyze and address territory opportunities and build key customer relationships
Ability to travel as necessary is required
Highly organized and skilled in using database management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to electronically manage concurrent projects, databases, and deadlines
Excellent writing skills are required
Must be well-spoken and articulate
Proven ability to meet monthly sales objectives, along with daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements as defined by manufacturer
