Job Description:


Work in a fast paced production environment with moderate supervision. Decision, sort, process prepare and scan incoming mail/correspondence while meeting or exceeding the expected minimum monthly department quality and production standards. Research and correct exception items. Operate scanning, mail and x-ray equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research incoming customer correspondence and interoffice mail to determine the correct department to route to or the correct FileNet workflow to scan into.

  2. Prepare, scan and index various documents for scanning by account number, SSN, doc type and doc date.

  3. Decision and resolve written customer correspondence scanned into the First Work Customer Care workflow. Types of customer correspondence include: closure of accounts, fee refunds, address changes and other various customer service type requests.

  4. Verify documents have been prepped, scanned and indexed correctly. Research and resolve scanning exception items such as incomplete images, missing pages, missing documents and incorrectly indexed documents.

  5. Ensure proper disposal of documents (i.e., shredding or storing) in accordance with Company retention guidelines.

  6. Sort incoming postal mail, interoffice mail and parcels by PO Box number, stop code, name, document type, or through additional research.

  7. Receive in mail, parcels, and packages from multiple sources. Accurately separate and scan all trackable' mail for internal tracking purposes.

  8. Fold and insert letters manually and by operating folder/inserter machine.

  9. Operate postage meter machine and FedEx/UPS software using appropriate postal and express regulations to prepare and process outgoing mail and parcels.

  10. Operate X-ray equipment to screen all incoming mail and packages for anything hazardous/suspicious.

  11. Serve as backup to mail delivery staff, by delivering and picking up mail throughout the campus buildings

  12. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.

Job Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook

  2. Oral and written communication skills

  3. Basic mathematical functions and capability

Additional Qualifications:

  1. High School Degree or equivalent

  2. Knowledge of mail and imaging processes
