We are looking for a talented Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include creation of UI/UX design wireframes and then develop actual code that will produce visual elements of applications. This unique opportunity allows you to take an active role on both sides of defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate will be a member of a highly creative and technically innovative development team responsible for creating user experience focused application/web based prototypes, and minimal viable products for piloting.

Ensure the technical feasibility of all UI/UX designs

Responsible for translating business/customer/employee ideas and feedback into clean, organized HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Responsible for rapid iterations, and in the moment changes to quickly encompass customer feedback

Work closely and collaboratively with team members across multiple disciplines

Deliver work under tight timelines while maintaining the highest standard of quality

Follow specific process to ensure quality and accountability is maintained throughout project duration

Facilitate the successful transition of work to a production delivery team

Researching interaction design trends

Researching technology trends

Experience with development methodologies a big plus.

Performing other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX

Basic knowledge of image authoring tools

Six or more years of user experience design experience for software, web applications which leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ability to work around them including mobile responsive techniques

Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique

Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of best practices in building fluid/responsive layouts

Strong knowledge of browser compatibility, including mobile web browsers, and their rendering engines

Experience with version control systems such as Git and SVN and structured deployment practices

Knowledge of server-side technologies and how client-side applications integrate with REST APIs

Understanding of common software project management practices

Understanding of common software development practices Superior organization and time management skill
