NASA Engineering and Logistics Business Development Director
The location of this job is negotiable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to become the lead for business development activities for PAE’s NASA Engineering and Logistics efforts at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and other NASA Space Centers. This includes seeking out new business opportunities that align with core services and business lines. The Business Development (BD) director will develop key customer relationships, coordinate and implement marketing plans intended to increase business and capture new opportunities with NASA in Engineering and Logistics. The BD Director will also be involved in strategic marketing and planning. The BD Director will have full knowledge of the corporate capabilities portfolio and collaborate with those entities to increase customer base and maximize sales potential. The BD Director will be responsible for contacting potential customers and briefing PAE capabilities.
Candidates shall have NASA leadership experience and/or business development experience with a NASA contractor. Candidates shall have experience developing strategic plans and marketing maintenance, sustaining engineering/logistics services.
Skill Requirements :
Skills requirements - A strong understanding of the U.S. Government acquisition, budgeting, and requirements processes is essential. Former acquisition experience is a plus. The individual must be sensitive to emerging NASA requirements and be able to formulate a response to those requirements. Ability to prepare marketing material and brief information to potential customers. Understanding of U.S. Government/NASA proposal requirements.
