POSITION SUMMARY: Utilizes a variety of clinical and leadership skills to educate, consult, and facilitate the service-line team in achieving the highest quality of service and satisfaction for the patients.
Utilizes a variety of clinical and leadership skills to educate, consult, and facilitate the service-line team in achieving the highest quality of service and satisfaction for the patients.
Develops and fosters effective collaboration among physicians and service line team to ensure an integrated approach to providing high quality care and services. Ensures effective physician communication and coordination of resources, standards of care, and operating procedures.
Coordinates service line work flow to maximize operational efficiency, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
Maintains effective vendor relationships and coordinates the trial, training, and implementation of new equipment and supplies.
Works collaboratively with physicians to understand preferences and coordinate the availability of supplies and equipment as appropriate.
Identifies training opportunities and coordinates the development and implementation of educational programs.
Ensures development and implementation of effective, ongoing clinical programs to measure, monitor, assess and improve services. Ensures program integrity through regularly scheduled quality assurance audits.
Facilitates the development, implementation and ongoing adherence of sepsis program protocols and therapies. Ensures the protocols and therapies become the standard of care followed within the facility.
Collaborates with medial and hospital staff to provide multidisciplinary care to septic patients. Provides Education and clinical expertise to care team, patients, and families.
Collects and analyzes sepsis program patient data to assist with documentation, coding, clinical care and improved outcomes.
Participates in rounding and proactively responds to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively impact overall patient experience.
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
Three to five years of Acute Care, Critical Care, and/or ED experience with a solid grasp of hemodynamics
Current Florida State Registered Nurse License; or ARNP (3/2016)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; or BLS Instructor (3/2016)
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
