Working with the SAP Silicon Valley Marketing and Employee Engagement Team to holistically manage the creation, enhancement and publishing of engaging content through various channels and sources.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Write and develop clear, effective, engaging, and on-brand communications to diverse employee audiences across various communication channels including internal and external social media channels.
Pull content from multiple internal sources, refine with appropriate research and integrate external perspective as needed to coalesce and deliver compelling communications.
Driving, developing, maintaining content for online community general news and events including key projects, initiatives, opportunities, product and solution milestones, success stories, and other organizational announcements.
Crowd sourcing of internal and external content to amplify SAP’s message on internal and external communication channels.
Drive comprehensive communication strategy for marquee Silicon Valley activities e.g. innovations, partnership activities and SAP sponsored local events.
Review, edit, and proofread all content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, accuracy, logic, and adherence to our content and brand standards.
Provide communications consultation to internal business partners to support their communications needs and to help them provide well-developed content that employee communications can leverage with minimal rework.
Proven ability to align outreach and execution to broader business and communications objectives.
Exposure of working across cultures and a collaborative and inclusive approach to working with other teams
Self-starter with a high degree of confidence, aptitude and self-motivation.
Strong skills at managing multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.
Superior communication skills
Manages development and completion of multiple communications vehicles in line with overall communications plans and priorities
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
BS/MS desired in Communications, Marketing, or Business
Mastery of verbal and written communication
Broad understanding of SAP products, strategy and communities served, and of SAP people strategy and company organization
Savvy with navigating very large organizations
Experience using web content management systems and editing in an online format
Ability to influence and improve the work of others
Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
