The Strategic Projects team is looking for IoS Development Intern to develop tools and technologies to help our customers achieve extraordinary value by leveraging structured, unstructured, transactional and real-time data sets from a variety of sources and analyzing customer decision patterns and make actionable recommendations using statistics, data mining, machine learning, business understanding and common sense.

Candidate should be willing to learn and apply state of the art in machine learning and applied mathematics. Willingness to closely work with customer’s right from problem discovery, conceptualization to solution modelling, implementation and delivery is a must. In detail you will:

Interact with internal and potentially external clients to understand their requirements

Help develop and test predictive algorithms to be implemented

Understand the business goals and initiatives and combine business modeling skills with outstanding data analysis


  • MS/PhD degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research or related field

  • Background in mathematics, statistics, and software development

  • Understanding of statistical and technical methods to produce relevant insights out of huge amounts of data

  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly new mathematical or technical methods

  • Willingness to participate in the customer workshop/demonstration as a subject matter expert

  • High energy, clear goal orientation and strong work ethic; "can do" attitude

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and precise manner; with non-technical audience

  • Presentation skills including the ability to create professional presentations

  • Experience in building native, data-driven iOS applications using Apple Objective-C and/or Swift

  • Experience writing clients for JSON Rest API web services.

  • Keep up-to-date on the latest iOS SDK developments

  • Proven ability to manage to deadlines

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Must be able to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management

  • Must be currently enrolled with a future graduation date to qualify

  • Must be able to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA
