The “Strategic account ” Business Development role for Successfactor Lob HR is expected to contribute supporting the MUs to identify, shape, prepare, and grow large deal pipeline as well as supporting the sales cycle of very competitive opportunity in the LE segment ( SCP & Key ) in order to increase big deal contribution in the annual budget revenue target


In close collaboration with the MU sales teams:

  • Identifying, qualifying, developing large opportunities in SAP’s installed base, as well as NNN/Dormant accounts to expand market share

  • Defined and monitor big deal plans for those identified accounts along the entire sales cycle

  • Build a trusted advisor relationship in the early stage of the sales process to gain HR lob stake holder buy in our vision and solution benefit

  • Contribute to build the strategic positioning that will differentiate from our main competitor

  • Build and support Demand generation program with the support to drive large deal pipeline growth in the LE segment

  • Creating and nurturing C-level executive relationships, as well as defining the customer exec alignment with the SuccessFactors leadership teamand “Win Room “team leader

  • Identify and review “Must Win” deals action plan on a regular basis with support of the Regional Value Added Team Lead and Regional Presales Head for leveraging the best fitting resources and ensure success.

  • Maintaining the relationship to SuccessFactor’s Global Commercial team and ensuring a continuous information flow around the best commercial model Leveraging best practices across all MUs

  • Develops Value selling message best practices securing repeatable large transactions

  • Work closely with the strategic SI we will partner with

  • Foster a culture of information / best practice sharing among the teams


  • Understanding of the HR Cloud business processes is a must

  • Strong experience in strategic selling/consulting

  • Proven presenter and partner on the C-Level

  • Ability to articulate message on complex digital HR transformation

  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and methodological skills and knowledge

  • Team worker & Networker able to effectively orchestrate diverse- and multinational teams

  • Resilient, used to work highly professional under time pressure, Flexibility to travel within EMEA region

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Successful complétion of University degree


  • 10 years’ experience in sales and business development role covering large, complex, international enterprises

  • Preferably experience in the HCM Line of Business. Experience in Cloud sales is a plus.

  • Experience in leading virtual teams

  • Proven track record of capturing and growing customer and market share in a profitable manner

  • Record of building strong customer relationships and customer contacts (executive access and effective offer positioning)
