WHE Operation and Maintenance Manager -- Pensacola


The WHE O&M Manager will have a minimum of 10 years experience involving weight handling equipment operation and maintenance.

The WHE O&M Manager will have a minimum of five years esperience in supervision or management of weight handling equipment personnel and equipment

The WHE O7M Manager will have experience working with federal and safety guidelines for crane operations.

The WHE O&M Manager will have experience with contract management and negotiation.

The WHE O&M Manager will have experience with policies regarding contracts and legal matters

Job Functions

The WHE O&M Manager will have full authority to ensure safe and effective crane operations at assigned site.

The WHE O&M Manager will oversee crane operations to ensure operations meet established guidelines.

The WHE O&M Manager maintains an inventory of equipment and routine maintenance repairs to equipment, and inspects invoices to ensure that appropriate supplies are delivered in an accurate and timely manner

The WHE O&M Manager coordinates with outside contractors and vendors of crane equipment and supplies to ensure that supplies and equipment are delivered in a timely and cost effective manner.

The WHE O&M Manager evaluates cost and quality of services, goods, and supplies to ensure that quality and cost match contract specifications. He establishes and maintains new contractor and vendor agreements to ensure deliveries meet established agreements.

The WHE O&M Manager recommends and/or initiates the selection and hiring of employees and trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work production. He addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel such as salary increases, transfers, and terminations to the Site Manager.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent or related field preferred
