Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona is seeking a qualified and energetic individual to come on board as our Foster Care Recruitment Specialist. This individual will play a vital role in our Foster Care programs and the recruitment of new families. The purpose of this role is to plan and implement a variety of activities throughout the county to increase the number of providers for traditional foster care, therapeutic foster care and family-based respite care programs at Devereux Arizona, ensuring compliance with licensing, funding agency and Devereux requirements. To collect output and outcome data to evaluate overall strategy and individual activities.
What does a day in the life of a Foster Care Recruiter look like?
Analyzing a diverse set of target markets in an on-going recruitment campaigns to attract new families to be licensed as Foster Parents through Devereux Arizona
You will work to develop relationships through outreach activities with potential candidates and drive the Foster Care recruitment plan to engage and enroll new families in our training programs
Engage our current foster care providers in the various areas of recruitment to maintain relationships, and encourage them to refer friends to Devereux as possible providers
Our Foster Care recruiter will collaborate with Devereux's marketing staff as well as Foster Care staff to create an overall awareness of foster parenting needs throughout the state.
Pay range is $12.67-$13.94/hr based on Experience and Education

- EDUCATION*: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Public relations or related field required.
EXPERIENCE: Work experience in non-profit public relations, sales, recruitment or outreach preferred.
Work and/or volunteer experience in child welfare of social services highly preferred.
Outgoing and high-energy, with the ability to motivate people to action and a passion for serving children and youth. Excellent public speaking, written communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Must possess strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Availability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends, and to travel throughout the county. A clean driving record, reliable vehicle and sufficient automobile liability insurance is required. Experience/knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
