About the Job
The Network Response Team (NRT) provides services to customers (Buyers and Suppliers) who are no longer covered under an active Statement of Work or contract. The goal of the NRT is to drive the growth of supplier and buyer participation on the Ariba Network by providing a high level of expertise and guidance to customers. This services includes assisting Ariba buyers to build enablement programs, effectively selling the value of automated collaborative commerce to Ariba suppliers and buyers, and providing customers with excellent customer service, functional guidance, and education.
The Network Growth Consultant must be able to work with team members and customers from diverse global regions and cultures and must be able to grasp and manage the business demands of a global business.
Create an excellent customer experience for Ariba buyers and suppliers through program management, problem solving, and responsiveness to questions and resolution of problems.
Increase Ariba Network revenue by efficiently engaging with customers to complete the outlined and agreed upon work within a reasonable time line.
Contribute to pipeline growth for the Network Response Team by proactively looking at opportunities and processes where the team can add value to the organization.
Be able to discuss the value of SMO services by assisting in the sales process; this includes joining sales calls, being cognizant of the overall goal and explaining how the enablement process works and what value this is to a potential customer.
Contribute to the improvement of SMO processes, knowledge base, and quality of delivery by being at the forefront of innovation and program design.
Become a center of excellence for knowledge and best practices.
Stay on planned and targeted timelines..
Appropriately escalating to management when programs are not producing expected outcomes or have missed targeted time lines.
Work independently on projects to drive the results forecasted.
Ensuring required information is provided by customers so that the NRT can measure outcomes and overall organizational value.
Ensuring that the enablement process is extremely efficient so that opportunity is created for a paid statement of work from the customer.
Recording and maintaining statistical information for the programs and projects assigned.
Work with other groups within Ariba to get to the desired result based on agreed upon customer deliverables. Minimum Qualifications
Self-sufficient and energetic person who is not intimidated by an ever-changing environment, not afraid to challenge and make improvements to process and is always looking for ways to strengthen the team.
Demonstrated ability to speak in front of internal teams as well as all levels of customer personnel.
Demonstrated experience in project and client management.
